Creating Your Writing Company
Establishing your writing company involves filling out forms and paying money simply so you can say your incorporated or a limited liability company. If this is what you want to do, visit your state’s secretary of state’s website. It shouldn’t take you long to figure out how to search available business names and find the paper work on the site. Be prepared to pay a filing fee in order to claim your business name and make sure you have a physical address (e.g. your home) where you will be doing business at. Once you receive your certification, you are officially in business. Easier than you thought, huh?
