Stay Motivated

Published by catseyeediting at 3:58 pm under Writing Edit This

It can be difficult to stay motivated, especially when you’re in a dead end job and you feel like you’re not getting anywhere. As the winter months are approaching, it can become even more challenging to get yourself out there. However, there are some things you can do to prevent procrastination.

Thinking about your living situation can give you the motivation you need to reach your goals. Do you want to live on your own or do you want to continue living on your own? Maybe you have a family that depends on you or maybe you pets to take care of. Regardless of your situation, you need money to maintain or claim the lifestyle you want.

Setup a daily schedule for yourself to keep you on the ball. Sometimes making a simple list is all you need to help you stay focused. Draw a circle next to each item you want to accomplish. As you start on the task, fill in half of the circle if you get halfway done and then fill it in completely when the task has been accomplished. This will give you a sense of accomplishment.
The key to motivation is to find your passion. Why do you love to write? What are the positive aspects of writing? Once you find the passion in it, you won’t want to procrastinate.
