Continuing Writing Education
It can be easy to get used to writing and editing your own sentences, but when you try to edit someone else’s words, it can become frustrating. You might miss blatant mistakes or you might not remember how to properly deal with awkward sentence structures, which is why continuing your writing education is imperative if you want to keep your skills sharp.
After you finish college, the last thing you want to do is go back to school, but you don’t have to take any classes if you just want to hone your skills. Purchase books with editing exercises or re-read the writing books you used in college. Take it upon yourself to test your writing and editing abilities, so you can produce clean copy that has the ability to connect with your audience.
