Design Your Book: Part 1

Published by catseyeediting at 12:01 am under Children's Literature, Publishing Edit This

Thinking about designing and publishing your book? In the case that you are, Adobe InDesign is a great way to start designing your book. This program is versatile, because you can customize the size of your workspace and play with the different tools. It even has a collection of Pantone colors, which are publishing quality.

If you are creating a children’s book or a different type of book that requires graphics, consider friends or family members who are talented. This can save you some money. My cousin actually drew the pictures for my first children’s book. I have to figure out a way to treat him, but at least I have something to work with and I can start designing my book.
