Finding Ideas - Community Forums

Published by catseyeediting at 12:01 am under Writing Edit This

Community forums can be great opportunities to find story ideas. Read what other people are talking about to see if you can pull any ideas from their dialogue. People often express concern, frustrations or problems they are experiencing, so you can use this to start your own story about how people can protect, solve or relieve their specific stressors. Or you can be brave and post a comment to see if anyone is willing to help you brainstorm. You will probably find that other writers are willing to be helpful. Just make sure that you return the favor, don’t just take the ideas and run if you expect to be helped again.
