Be Like Nature
I’m constantly writing, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have times when I slow down a little. This usually happens to me in the winter. For some reason, my entire life gets turned down a notch. I meet my deadlines, but the writing process is more difficult and takes longer than usual. I truly believe that winter is meant for hibernation, and the effects of the cold, dark days hit me hard. I’m really looking forward to spring, and I can feel my mind and body picking up in pace. Instead of fighting nature, it’s best to flow with it. Struggling during winter is part of the creative process, because I know it will help me be more productive in the spring and summer.

Now that’s odd. I’m the complete opposite! Fall and winter are the months that my writing starts to pick up and summer is when I hibernate. I’m a cold weather guy and can’t stand the heat haha.
